It has been over five months since my last post on this website. I won’t go into why right now. I will say, I hope to return to writing again.
This article is not about former President Trump. It is about some yeoman’s work done by Mike Winger. Mike has a YouTube channel on which he mostly teaches the Bible. He will occasionally depart from that format and make a video about the importance of some specific topic.
Last week, as you all know, there was an attempt on the life of Donald J. Trump, former President of the United States. There was a prophecy by a man named Brandon Biggs that appears at first glance to be an accurate prophecy of this event. Upon closer examination and application of Biblical standards for judging prophecy, it is apparent that this was different from what it first appeared.
I assume those of you who have been receiving my writing over the past five or so years know that I am a continuationist; that is, I believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit poured out on the early church are still extant today. I believe that there is a valid gift of prophecy that exists in the church and that it should be operated according to the standards in Scripture.
Brandon Biggs’ “prophecies” fail that test of Scripture. I am linking you to a fairly exhaustive video review of Mr. Biggs’s prophetic efforts that I want the body of Christ to view. It is about two and one-half hours long, so it will take you a while to view it. Many YouTubers and bloggers have not done their homework like Mike Winger has done and have been promoting the work of a man I believe to be a false prophet. Please take the time to view this video.
