Ministers are teaching both valid Biblical principles and some perversions of Scripture and doing it for personal profit. I think Jesus is angry. What concerns me is that to correct these misdeeds, concerned leaders are throwing out the baby with the bath water, and I don’t want that to happen. Keep the baby and get rid of the dirty bath water.

Jesus commands us to love our enemies. The Old Testament tells us that the greatest commandment is that we love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, and might 1 and our neighbor as ourselves. Sometimes our neighbor is an enemy. At first blush, the prayer of Psalm 7 appears to violate these commands to love our neighbors, including those who are our enemies.

The concepts of gender fluidity, trans-genderism, preferred pronouns, gender dysphoria, and other departures from nature have mushroomed in the last decade or so. I recently read that as much as 10% of the population is caught up in these delusions. I have my doubts about the statistics. The advancement of this agenda has become ubiquitous in the US Government and corporate policy. People lose their jobs if they don’t toe the line and participate in these delusions. This organized agenda is being forced upon the US population and other countries.
Read MoreChrist first came into my life at the age of 5 during a series of evangelistic meetings in our tiny country Quaker church house in Gate, Oklahoma. Since then it has been a process of “Stumbling forward by grace, through faith in Christ.” I experienced a significant personal revival at the age of 19 and have been much in love with the Lord ever since…five decades-plus.
My passion is to enjoy the Lord by encouraging others to make progress in their lives…living life successfully. I do that primarily through my disciple-making efforts and through my writing.
I spent about 20 years in public ministry and at the age of 40 decided that I had allowed my passion for ministry to impede my prior duty to my family, so I stepped aside. I found a new career as a financial advisor and now make my living serving my financial planning clients.
I now consider myself to be a bi-vocational minister of the gospel.
